Congratulations to high school senior Jesse Fuger, selected as one of this year's winners of the James R. Hoffa Memorial Scholarship Fund! Jesse will be pursuing his college degree at the University of Washington. Go Huskies! Jesse's father, Seth Fuger, is a dedicated Local 305 member and long-time driver of Waste Management for nearly 20 years.

The Cowlitz Wahkiakum Central Labor Council and the Association of Western Pulp and Paper Workers (AWPPW) have come together to establish a fund at the Lower Columbia Longshoremen's Federal Credit Union that will provide support to families struggling with financial burdens caused by the implosion.
